HOW TO ACHIEVE THE LOOK
Wash and condition hair.
Towel-dry hair until damp and scrunch with a towel to help prevent damage and split ends.
Fill half of your left palm with styling mousse. With your right hand, use a wide-tooth comb to work the mousse into your hair from root to tip, ensuring the mousse is evenly distributed.
Blow-dry hair 50% dry using a skeleton brush to keep hair tangle-free. Use the pick end of a steel comb to create a part on the right side of your head.
Starting with the right side of your part, take a 1-inch section from the top of the part; place the tips over a medium-sized Velcro roller and roll hair up to the scalp. Repeat across the right side of your part and then the left side of your part. In total, you should have 8-10 rollers in your hair, with the majority starting at your part line to keep the part well defined. Blow-dry hair completely.
Starting with the right side, take out all rollers, unrolling carefully from root to tip. Once all rollers are out, gently brush through your hair with a skeleton brush.
Using a wide-tooth comb, start at the left side of the part and comb through the hair in an “S” shape, creating a wave. Follow the path of the comb with your hand to help define the wave. Spray hair immediately with hairspray, focusing on the wave.
Take a 2-inch section of hair that frames your face and place the tips of the hair over the barrel of a curling iron. Curl the bottom 2-3 inches of your hair, holding the curling iron in place for 10 seconds. Repeat for 2-inch sections of your hair that frame the right and left sides of your face.
To finish this soft waves hairstyle, spray hair all over with a strong-hold hairspray. For added shine, spray hair with a shine spray.
