HOW TO ACHIEVE THE LOOK
Wash and condition hair.
Towel-dry hair until damp and scrunch with a towel to help prevent damage and split ends.
Fill half of your left palm with styling mousse. With your right hand, use a wide-tooth comb to work the mousse into your hair from root to tip, ensuring the mousse is evenly distributed.
Blow-dry hair completely using your fingers, keeping the hair tangle-free. Once dry, use the pick end of a steel comb to create a part on the right side of your head.
Starting with the right side of your part, take a 1-inch section from the top of the part; place the tips over a medium-sized hot roller and roll hair up to the scalp and secure the roller in place with a pin or a big claw clip. Repeat across the right side of your part and then, maintaining the part, repeat with the left side. In total, you should have 15 rollers in your hair, with the majority starting at your part line to keep the part well defined. Leave the rollers in your hair for 15-20 minutes or until the rollers are cold.
Starting with the right side, carefully remove the rollers. Once all rollers are out, use your fingers to separate the curls, creating more volume within your short curly hair.
Place a dime-sized amount of styling crème in the palm of your hand; rub your hands together and work the palms of your hands over the surface of your hair until you reach 2-3 inches from the tips, at which point you can begin to weave your fingers through your hair.
Spray your short curly hair all over with a flexible-hold hairspray. For added finish, spray hair with a shine spray.
